The North American Pelvic Society (“NAPS”) is committed to making its website accessible to the widest possible audience, regardless of technology or ability. We are working to improve the user experience for all visitors and to apply relevant accessibility principles and standards to our digital content.

Our Accessibility Goal
NAPS aims to improve the accessibility of this website and to work toward alignment with recognized accessibility standards, including WCAG 2.1 Level AA, where reasonably achievable for our content and platform.

Accessibility Efforts on This Site
Our ongoing accessibility efforts include working to:

  • use clear and consistent heading structures;

  • maintain logical page organization and readable content order;

  • provide text alternatives for informative images where appropriate;

  • review color contrast for readability;

  • support keyboard navigation and visible focus states;

  • improve the accessibility of forms and interactive elements;

  • reduce unnecessary motion where possible; and

  • review media and downloadable content for accessibility considerations.

We also use platform tools and ongoing manual review to identify and address accessibility issues as the website evolves.

Some parts of this website may include third-party tools, embedded services, or external platforms that are not fully controlled by NAPS. While we aim to choose accessible solutions whenever possible, the accessibility of third-party content may vary.
