Academic Research
Research is central to the mission of NAPS. The society is designed to connect like-minded orthopaedic surgeons with a shared interest in improving pelvic and acetabular trauma care through collaboration, data sharing, protocol development, and scholarly activity.

Academic
Research
Academic Research is integral to the mission of NAPS. The goal of this collaborative effort is to integrate surgeons from around the world to share ideas and observations that highlight areas of pelvic trauma surgery where a lack of consensus regarding scientific evidence for treatment protocols exists. Additionally, through the efforts of many different institutions, surgeons, and patient populations, we hope to combine data and experiences to better recommend treatment protocols and algorithms for all types of pelvic and acetabular trauma.
Looking for innovation
Outcomes and Care
Comparative outcomes, perioperative pathways, quality improvement efforts, and questions related to variation in treatment and recovery.
Technique and Fixation
Research related to approach selection, fixation strategy, decision-making, and management of complex fracture patterns.
Education, Registry, and Collaborative Data
Development of educational research, case repositories, and multicenter data collection that supports stronger analysis and broader learning
